Roche, one of the world's largest pharmaceutical and diagnostic companies, wanted a completely new "look and feel" for its 2014 Annual Report. A centerpiece of the new concept was a series of feature stories on employees. FrontLine wrote all seven of these "people spotlights" as well as the entire "human resources" chapter.

Frontline worked with the editorial team of myRoche in Basel to create the cover story (Dec. 2013) and a complementary online article about the new company-wide recognition and rewards program known as Applause. In Q2 2013, Frontline wrote the cover story for myRoche on the company’s strategic information technology partnership with Google.

In collaboration with an internal project team, FrontLine created the entire text for the Novartis Pharma “Diversity & Inclusion Report 2012”. Interviews were a key part of generating the content. In addition, FrontLine also filmed and edited multiple videos with employees about D&I to accompany the brochure.

Writing from the perspective of a patient can be a powerful way of communicating. FrontLine’s patient story was featured on the cover of Takeda’s CCO Magazine, a publication for employees in over 70 countries.

In collaboration with Wirz Corporate, FrontLine has created the content for Nycomed’s newest company brochure and revised large sections of its Internet site. Based in Zurich, Nycomed is a global pharmaceutical company with 12,000 employees and an annual turnover of over 3 billion Euros.

FrontLine has worked with Corporate Communications at Merck Serono in Geneva to do more than 50 interviews with employees as part of a rebranding campaign in internal and external media. Merck Serono is a global leader in medical therapies for multiple sclerosis, cancer and infertility.

Several projects have been successfully completed with CIBA VISION, a global provider of contact lenses and lens care products. FrontLine generated a series of articles for the company intranet on the vision and strategy of Corporate Communications, Global Sales and Human Resources as well as creating the content for the company’s first Health, Safety and Environment brochure.

Celebrating a golden anniversary

AO Foundation Book Chapter I

In June 2008, the AO Foundation in Davos, Switzerland, marked its 50th anniversary. FrontLine worked intensively for one year to create a lasting tribute – a colorful, hardbound book that gives an overview of this pioneering organization and its many contributions to the world of orthopedic and trauma surgery. The concept, developed in cooperation with graphic artists at nougat, combines interviews and narrative texts with anecdotes and short stories in an informative, easy-to-read style.
